From Farm to Bowl: Introducing Our Own Line of Food

We’re thrilled to announce that Marin Raw is launching our very own line of raw food! 🎉

Why? Because after years of searching, we struggled to find products that truly met our standards. Too many options are made from warehouse-raised animals fed cheap corn and soy — food that fills the stomach but doesn’t deliver the nutrients pets need to thrive.

We knew our community — and our own dogs — deserved better.

Chickens Raised Right vs. Warehouse Chickens

Most supermarket chickens are raised in giant sheds, eating corn and soy feed. They grow quickly but miss out on the nutrients nature intended.

By contrast, chickens raised on pasture in a regenerative system scratch for bugs, eat seeds, grasses, and greens. The result? Meat that is naturally richer in:

    • Omega-3 fatty acids — supporting brain and joint health.

    • Vitamin E and Vitamin A — powerful antioxidants and immune boosters.

    • B vitamins — essential for energy and metabolism.

    • Minerals like selenium and zinc — key for resilience and recovery.

    • Carotenoids (lutein, zeaxanthin, beta-carotene) — giving the fat a golden hue and protecting the body from oxidative stress.

Warehouse chickens can’t match this profile — their meat is heavy on omega-6 fats, light on vitamins, and lacking the complexity that comes from a species-appropriate diet.

Grass-Fed Cows vs. Grain-Fed Feedlot Cows

Beef tells a similar story. Grain-fed, feedlot beef is marbled and calorie-dense, but often missing the nutrients that make beef truly nourishing.

    Grass-fed, regeneratively raised cows deliver:

    • A better omega-6:omega-3 balance for reducing inflammation.

    • CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), a fatty acid linked to metabolism and immune health.

    • Vitamin K2, which supports heart health and strong bones.

    • Vitamin A & E, naturally occurring antioxidants.

    • More minerals — magnesium, zinc, selenium, and iron — pulled directly from mineral-rich soils.

    • Phytonutrients from diverse forage that show up in the flavor and nutrient density of the beef.

When cattle eat grass the way nature intended, the result is healthier meat for your pets — and a healthier planet.

    Coming Soon

Our new line of locally made, nutrient-dense raw food will be rolling out this fall. With every bite, you’ll know your pets are getting the nourishment nature intended — and you’ll be supporting farming practices that heal the planet.

Sourced right. Nourishment you can trust.
