Real food. That's the whole idea.
Most dog food is cooked at high heat, pressed into shapes, and sprayed with the nutrients the cooking destroyed. Raw food skips all of that. It's meat, organ, and bone — ground fresh in Petaluma, fed the way a dog's body already knows how to use it.
What "raw" actually means
No cooking. No extrusion. No synthetic vitamin pack added back in at the end. We grind whole animals — muscle, bone, organ — in a USDA human-grade facility in Petaluma, then freeze it. That's the entire process. When you read the label, you'll recognize every word on it.
What owners notice first
Less odor, smaller stools
Healthier coat & skin
Cleaner teeth, fresher breath
Leaner body, better joints
How to Feed Our Grinds
We’ve designed these recipes to be fed in rotation, ensuring your pet gets a diverse profile of minerals and amino acids.
Whole Animal Poultry
Chicken, duck, turkey. Made from the entire animal — muscle, bone, organ, connective tissue — so it's a complete, standalone meal on its own.
Organ-Rich Red Meats
Beef, pork, lamb. Bone-free and loaded with extra organ — rotate these in for deeper nourishment that muscle meat alone can't provide.
By alternating between our whole-animal poultry and our organ-rich red meats, you’re providing a straightforward, species-appropriate diet built on transparency and local sourcing.
How to transition your dog to raw
Stop kibble, start raw the next day. A one-day fast in between can help clear the system first — a day or two without food won't harm an adult dog.
Day 1: 25% raw, 75% current food
Day 3: 50/50
Day 5: 75% raw, 25% current food
Day 7: 100% raw
What to expect: Kibble is bulked up with fillers, so the stool it produces is soft and large. Raw stool is smaller, firmer, and your dog may seem to strain a little — that's normal, not constipation. It's a sign the food is being used, not padded out.
