Marin Raw External Yeast Protocol — Advanced Support

Advanced external yeast support for dogs with moderate to stubborn yeast affecting paws, toes, groin, belly, armpits, wrinkles, folds, and outer ears.

Overview

This protocol was designed for dogs struggling with persistent yeast issues, especially pets with:

  • Red, itchy paws
  • Corn chip odor
  • Belly rashes
  • Thickened or greasy skin
  • Chronic licking
  • Wrinkles and folds
  • Outer ear yeast
  • Hot spots
  • Seasonal flare-ups

Rather than simply suppressing symptoms, this layered protocol works to break down yeast biofilm, support microbial balance on the skin, and create a healthier skin environment.

The Yeast-Clear Protocol

Phase 1 — Biofilm Breakout

Regeno3one Vet Ozone Foaming Shampoo

Yeast creates a protective biofilm layer that allows it to survive on the skin. Ozonated shampoo helps oxidize and disrupt that biofilm while cleansing irritated skin.

Instructions

  1. Wet coat thoroughly.
  2. Apply foam generously, focusing on:
    • Paws
    • Groin
    • Belly
    • Armpits
    • Wrinkles & folds
  3. Massage deeply into the skin.

The 10-Minute Rule

Allow the foam to remain on the skin for a full 10 minutes before rinsing.

This step is critical for effectiveness.

  1. Rinse thoroughly.
  2. Towel dry completely.

⚠️ Yeast thrives in moisture, so keeping skin dry is extremely important.

Frequency

  • Active flare-ups: Daily or every other day
  • Maintenance: 2–3x weekly

Phase 2 — Biological Strike

Propythium Effervescent Tablets

Propythium uses Pythium oligandrum, a beneficial organism that naturally consumes yeast and fungi through a process called mycoparasitism.

Best For

  • Yeasty paws
  • Thickened skin
  • Chronic yeast
  • Toe irritation
  • Belly and groin yeast
  • Horses, dogs, and cats

Mixing Instructions

  1. Dissolve:
    • 1 tablet in 2 liters of lukewarm water (~34°C / 93°F)
  2. Allow solution to activate for 20–30 minutes.

Application Instructions

Full Body / Skin

  • Spray or sponge onto affected areas or entire body.
  • Focus on itchy or yeasty regions.

IMPORTANT

DO NOT rinse off.

Allow solution to air dry naturally so the beneficial organisms remain on the skin and continue working.

Environmental Support

For best results:

  • Spray bedding
  • Kennels
  • Crates
  • Mats
  • Sleeping areas

Frequency

  • 3 times weekly
  • Repeat for second week if needed

⚠️ Solution must be used within 24 hours.
⚠️ Do NOT mix with other products.

Phase 3 — Targeted Ozone Protection

Once the skin is dry after Propythium application, apply either:

  • Regeno3one Vet Ozonated Olive Oil
    OR
  • Regeno3one Vet Ozonated Glycerin (OG)

to the most irritated areas.

These products help support:

  • Skin barrier repair
  • Healthy microbial balance
  • Oxygenation
  • Skin comfort
  • Yeast-prone areas

Which One Should You Choose?

Ozonated Olive Oil

Stronger Anti-Yeast Support

Best For

  • Red inflamed skin
  • Thickened chronic yeast patches
  • Hot spots
  • Paws
  • Groin
  • Armpits
  • Stubborn flare-ups

Why Choose It?

Olive oil holds more ozone and penetrates deeply into damaged tissue, making it ideal for active yeast flare-ups and chronic areas.

Most commonly recommended during severe flare-ups.

Ozonated Glycerin (OG)

Gentle Sensitive-Skin Support

Best For

  • Sensitive skin
  • Face folds
  • Chin acne
  • Hairy areas
  • Belly
  • Tail base
  • Anal area
  • Daily maintenance

Why Choose It?

OG is lightweight, water-compatible, fast absorbing, and non-greasy.

Excellent for delicate areas or pets who do not tolerate oils well.

Internal Support Matters

External care works best when combined with internal yeast balancing support.

We commonly pair this protocol with:

  • Olive Leaf Glycerite
  • Activated Garlic (Allicin)
  • Saccharomyces boulardii
  • Low-carbohydrate species-appropriate diets
  • Gut and microbiome balancing protocols

Important Notes

Yeast imbalance is often connected to:

  • Diet
  • Gut health
  • Antibiotic history
  • Environmental allergies
  • Chronic inflammation
  • Moisture retention

Long-term success usually requires both internal and external support.
