While this recipe satisfies AAFCO nutrient standards, the plant ingredients act primarily as filler — not a natural nutrient source for carnivores. Dogs have a limited ability to digest vegetables, which can make this blend less suitable for dogs with IBD, colitis, or sensitive digestion.
